    Hi Mike.

The current version of ProAnimator (version 3) allows you to import a variety of 3D file formats,
    including OBJ, DXF, and 3DS.

Version 4 of ProAnimator (coming very soon) will let you create a variety of primitives, including
spheres, cylinders, cones, cubes, and pyramids.

    Hi Scott.

Could you tell us when the message is shown?
That is, what are you doing when it shows up?

    Thanks.

    Yes. It’s the same problem.

However, version 4.0.5 (released very soon) will fix this problem
by creating the object in a slightly different way.

June 17, 2005 at 6:44 pm in reply to: importing background image in ProAnimator 3.0.2

    Hi Bill.

In version 3 of ProAnimator, the background is for alignment/placement only. It does not get rendered into the final output.

In version 4 (coming soon!), you are given the option to composite the background image into the final rendering.

  • Hi Bill.

May I send you a sample project that does what you’re asking for?
It will be easy for you to see what I’ve done.

    Thanks.

    Hi Banshee.

    I assume you’re using ProAnimator v3.0.

The object pivot isn’t properly adjusted when changing the depth of the object.

In version 4 (coming soon), the objects are created so that the pivots are properly centered.

June 14, 2005 at 4:08 pm in reply to: not WYSIWYG

    Hello Hildi.

The preview area should match what you see in the Comp window unless the “Use Comp Camera” checkbox is selected.

Is it possible for you to post an image of what you’re seeing?

If you can’t post one, but can email me one (matt@zaxwerks.com), that would be fine too.

    Thanks.

June 14, 2005 at 4:05 pm in reply to: not enough memory

    Hi Dcwin.

Can I assume that you have tried pressing the “Options” button and that you get the same error?

I’d suggest you test the pre-release version v4.0.5 found here:
    Windows – Invigorator PRO 4.0.5
    https://www.zaxwerks.com/downloads/InvigAEPro4.0.5_060205R.zip

Let us know if that version is still giving you problems.

    Thanks.

    Hi Kenny.

The next version of ProAnimator, version 4.0, will have some controls to make fading in and out easy.

    Stay tuned.

June 13, 2005 at 3:11 pm in reply to: obj model strangeness

    Hello everyone.

The problem Tony was experiencing was a bug in the Invigorator’s OBJ parser.

The file is easy to fix with a text editor, and the next version of the Invigorator
will have a fix in the code.

    The problem:
    – The last portion of a line has: #####
    (for example: 12345)
    – We expected a space between the last number and the backslash
    – So we did a little search and replace to create: #####

    Then the file loaded.
