    Hi jcarty.

I’d suggest you update to the latest version of Invig PRO
and let us know if that solves your problem.
    We’re currently at v4.0.7.

You can download the current version here:
    https://www.zaxwerks.com/download

Let us know if you are still having problems.

    Hi Dante.

Can we get some more information from you?
Are you running PA on the Mac or Windows?
What sort of graphics card do you have?

Can you send me a file that is crashing?
If so, send it to: matt@zaxwerks.com

I’ll take a look at is as soon as I get it.
Please include a few steps to follow in order to make it crash.

I’d also like to send you a pre-release of v4.0.2 (minor changes, but you never know).

We’d like to get you up and running asap.

April 25, 2006 at 8:27 pm in reply to: ProAnimator color banding problem

    Hi Dave.

I would guess you’re seeing a limitation of the texture map applied as a reflection map.

You may need a higher resolution map if you’re seeing undesired banding.

If you’d like to post a picture to this forum, we’d be happy to voice an opinion.

Alternately, you may send me a screenshot and I’ll take a look: matt@zaxwerks.com

    Thanks.

    Hi Steve.

I would suggest updating to the latest version of the Invigorator, found at the Zaxwerks web site:
    https://www.zaxwerks.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi

Then, if you’re still having trouble, please email me and we’ll figure this out.
You may have to send me your files so that I can recreate your problem.

Also, are you on the Mac or PC?

    Thanks.

April 20, 2006 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Invigorator window does not show well in AE Comp

    Hi Robbie.

Would you mind sending me your project? Just the .aep file — no media files necessary.

I’d be happy to take a look. I’m not sure if there is a setting that needs to be changed
    or if it’s a bug.

You may want to send a screenshot of what you’re seeeing as well.

You can send files to: matt@zaxwerks.com

    We’ll start there.

    Thanks.

    Hi Matt.

Could you tell me if you’re running AE on Windows or the Mac?
A sample .aep file would help us track this down.

    Thanks.

April 18, 2006 at 12:21 am in reply to: Invigorator Set-up window shows nothing

    Hi.

Thanks for posting a screenshot. It seems that the OpenGL driver is not
being properly created for the Set-Up window. It’s good to see that the
OpenGL preview in the Effect Controls Window (ECW) is working.

Had the Invigorator previously been working for you? Do you know which
    version you last used?

For those having trouble, please email me your system information (including
which graphics card you’re using) along with which version of the Invigorator
you’re using. I’ll try to see if there’s a common thread — and I’ll try to
    duplicate the problem here.

    Thanks a lot.

April 18, 2006 at 12:09 am in reply to: Invigorator AE Pro 4.0.6 Crashing

    Hi Matt.

Would you mind sending me a .aep file (no media files necessary) and a small
set of instructions telling which layer you’re trying to copy (and where you’re trying
to paste it)? I’d be happy to take a look.

You can send the file to: matt@zaxwerks.com

    Thanks a lot.

    Serge makes a good point.

One thing I forgot to mention is that an Invigorator layer cannot
cast shadows outside of itself (such as on a non-Invig layer). Therefore, it’s best to have
the plane receiving the shadow in your Invigorator as well.
