If all the I/O’s are grayed out and you have the correct driver you may have installed producer, not the hardware version of M100 .
What’s the name of the installer you ran?

Are you running the latest update for Red on windows (4.3.3).
If not download and install it from out updates page: https://www.borisfx.com/updates/
If you are try trashing the Red preferences. To do so go to the C:/Windows folder and remove the BorisRed4.3.ini file.
Does any of this resolve your issue?

Try repairing permissions using disk utility. Make sure you are and admin and reboot.
Does it allow you now?

Correct, Boris will work in the 32 bit version of Vegas on a 64 bit OS.

Are you an admin user?
If you are sure you want to delete everything you can try emptying the trash via the terminal.
Launch the terminal and type this command: rm -rf ~/.Trash/*
This should empty the trash.

Does it give you any dialogue when you try to empty the trash?
What is the file it won’t delete?
