Thanks everyone. I got it figured out with all your advice! I had the wrong settings on my sequence. I just changed my sequence to the suggested sizes/format and it worked.
Thanks!

Thank you! It worked at 33 just fine.
I did some research on the ProRes capture and it looks like I am missing out by not doing that. I checked my capture settings and the sequence preset can be set to ProRes but I can’t set the capture preset to ProRes because it isn’t available.
Do I have to download the plugin for the ProRes? I thought it was supposed to be available in FCP 6.0.1?

Thank you Chris. Is there a way to know exactly what the aspect ratio should be set to so it is the correct proportion? I changed it to be what looks correct, however, I want to make sure it is exact.
Does doing this method of distortion, hurt the quality of the video clip?
Also, is there a way to resize a video clip in proportion and hold it so it doesn’t rotate. If I hold down the Apple Key, it resizes it to proporation but it also allows me to rotate it.
Thanks for your help!

Thank you – that is exactly what I am looking for. However, they are very expensive if I need to get a bunch of them and it looks like I can only use them for so many months before I have to renew. Does anyone know a resource for images like these that are a bit cheaper or a resource that can be used if I put credit on the page of where the images where found?

Thanks Tony! That worked great.
Lastly, I am running into a problem with my fonts. I used verdana throught the presentation so that I didn’t have to outline it. (I did this so it is clear at any zoom, when I outline it, it seems the “l’s” merge together?) However, I needed to use a font that wasn’t a windows standard font and when I outline it, it is blurry and doesn’t have crisp smooth edges when I export it to a PDF. It looks good in Illustrator when I zoom in and out but when I save it as a PDF, it gets all weird looking and jaggy? Any suggestions?
Thanks everyone for your help!

Thank you Joe. I will try the 300DPI image. Is there a quick way to bridge between illustrator and PS. For example: can I create a place holder in illustrator and then edit the placeholder in PS. Basically so it will automatically create the correct size canvas in PS and then I can save it? Does that make sense?
Also, what is the best compression settings for JPEG images when exporting to PDF? (Zip, JPEG or automatic JPEG)
Thanks again!

Thank you for sending the article. That really helps. There is only one problem and that is that I don’t have FC 6.0. I have 5.0, and the don’t have that compression option. Is there another format that I can take it to that would be better to work with in AE. Even if I lose some quality, I am scaling it down anyway so it won’t be as noticable.
Thanks!
