I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I had a question about where I can find images to buy or free that I can use legally on my website of singers, shows, and sports games? You can see what I am referring to by going to (big stub .com). This website has little thumbnails of what I am referring to on their homepage. I looked at comstock, istockphoto and shutterstock and haven’t been able to find images like these.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    hello…

getty images is a very large holder of celebrity/entertainment/news photos like that – they are not going to be cheap, but you can legally obtain them from getty:

    hope that helps!

Thank you – that is exactly what I am looking for. However, they are very expensive if I need to get a bunch of them and it looks like I can only use them for so many months before I have to renew. Does anyone know a resource for images like these that are a bit cheaper or a resource that can be used if I put credit on the page of where the images where found?

    hello…

typically if you want to use them legally, you will have to pay – in most cases, any picture of a person will require a release from them to use…getty handles the legal portion of it, but you still might have limitations from even them…

so i don’t know of any legal photo repositories of entertainment or other photos…you can check getty’s site for reproduction usages, as you might be able to use them in some cases if you provide proper credit, but that would take some research…
