Yep, it wasn’t just video pros, it was design/print/publishing/audio/etc. It was the creative professional market, of which video professionals are just a fraction.

Yes. i just checked again. Shift+Tab takes you from the Event Browser to the event library.
That’s the thing I’ve been most impressed with so far..the speed I can get around certain parts of the interface with just the keyboard.

I may be missundertanding you, but you should be able to navigate around the interface with the keyboard alone.
the tab key will take you around the interface clock-wise till you get to the story line. Seems like it should cycle through, but it doesn’t. then Shift+Tab takes you counter-clockwise around areas. So if you’re in the story line Shitt+tab once and you’re int he viewer. then again and you’re in whatever keyword collection (clips) or event is highlighted in the browser. Shift+tab again and you’re back in the Event Library. UP and down arrows take you up and down the list of keywords in the even browser as well as switching clips while you are in the part of the interface where you can view thumbnails of your clips (I forget the damn terminology they’re using for all these differnt areas).

Boy isn’t that the truth. Seems Like everyone’s got different little pieces of knowledge about FCPX. If we all could form like Voltron, we might could make one solid FCPX User. Cept Gary, He knows more than us, but he cheated by having the software early.

But I have noticed other people “reading the tea leaves” and then calling others out for doing the same thing. Has Chris done this more than other people? Most likely just by sheer volume. He’s posted more comments in this forum than any other poster.
When people have an opinion about something they look for the things that validate that opinion which often causes them to be blind to other things that contradict that opinion.
All I’m saying is that He’s not the only one on the forum who’s doing the stuff that you’re accusing him of. He may be the loudest one, but he’s not the only one.
If there’s one thing we can all agree on it’s that Chris is wasting his time posting so much. He’s not going to change anyone’s mind about anything. Everyone is right in their own mind.
And I’m sorry if I detracted from your point…but I’m pretty sure it still came across loud and clear there and in the other places you’ve placed it.

To be fair, there are several other very outspoken individuals on this forum who have used/are using some of the very same tactics you are accusing Chris of. I haven’t seen you once call any of them out (though I have not read every comment you’ve posted on this forum). But I have seen more than a couple instances of you calling Chris out on things.
It’s argumentation…EVERYONE cherry picks. It’s how people build a case for anything they believe/hope for/have faith in.
