Hi Alan, don´t know what my computer has been doing the last weeks ?, today when trying to generat the error, the codec works like a charm ?? computers 🙂

Seemed to be a Videoproblem, I runned an uncompressed avi…into PI, but when I removed the BG video…it was ok…thank god for alpha 🙂 -

1. I have tried that, still look strange…maybe a re-install of the emitters will fix it ?
2. Yes it is in the stage window…

I got everything fixed, I found my backup, and there everything was, couldn´t find it yesterday
Now it is activated and running fine again, only one issue, I think I have activated it 3 times now
So i need to reset that -
Do you have the bg button checked in the layers window ?

I downloaded the codec sniper, run it, said ok on all my installed codecs, usually I render out *.TGA:s, old habit, but anyway my computer seems to run uncompressed avi:s without any problem !!, but I will install “Lagarith” and “Huffy UV” codecs…

The 4:th codec in the list is “CineForm HD Encoder-2”, it crashes when I choose it, but then when I start it again, it choose ? probably the last that worked, in my case full frames uncompressed !!!

The solution was as you suggested :
“If you’re familiar with Regedit, please run it and look at the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\wondertouch\pIllusionRender\Settings\AviCompressor
Edit it, and set its value to “0”, then close Regedit”
The value showed “3”, so I changed it as you suggested to “0”
restarted my computer and after that it worked perfectly, Thanks ! -
It works, :), but however seems to be the cineform encoder that makes the problem, Now I can choose avi codecs, but when I choose the cineform encoder it is the same, not much of a problem now, just have to see that I don
