May 14, 2009 at 3:30 pmAs I’ve said before (several times):
Don’t use uncompressed AVI in particleIllusion (or ever really).
There’s no need for it. Ever. In any application. Use a free lossless codec like Huffyuv or Lagarith instead. You’ll have no problems in pIllusion, your files will be smaller, load faster, transfer faster, etc.
Alan.

May 14, 2009 at 8:02 pmI’m having the same problem. I’ve tried loading two different Quicktime files both are compressed in h.264 and are 1280.720 pixels. Both times the playback stops roughly half way through. Solution ideas anyone?

May 14, 2009 at 8:08 pmHere’s a clue, I made the clips longer and yes, they appear to be playing half of the available time. fiddling with the fields setting on import has no effect when trying to extend the clip length past half the available time. Very odd… Still looking for solution ideas… thanks!
