    Hi,
I just purchased PI 3.0.2 and I’m having a problem importing anything into it. I am able to choose a file (in this case a JPEG file ) and it goes through the “image is not the same size…make stage same size as image?… I choose okay and then a window comes up:Background Image. with dropdowns for: start at project frame(1); hold last frame(0)(this is checked); separate fields(set to off)and remove. I click OK and the screen remains black. Any suggestions?

Do you have the bg button checked in the layers window ?

This appears to have been an OpenGL driver (video driver) issue. It was fixed by unchecking the “do not use texture RAM for bg images” option in the OpenGL page of particleIllusion 3 preferences.

This option is checked by default, since most cards made in the last 3 years are faster when displaying bg images with it checked than with it not checked.

    Alan.
