    Hey alex,

Didn’t find anything in the prefs, I’ll try to change some shortcuts.

    Thanks

    Thanks Paul,

I guess the problem comes from my shortcut list. Cause Up ans down arrows do nothing…

It works in the timeline, goes from an edit point to another, but doesn’t work in the source monitor…

    I’ll check that, thanks again

    Hi ,

Thanks for the link, but I’ve already seen it.
In the video the user doesn’t go from In point to Out point with a keyboard shortcut, he scrolls and find manually his In point and Out point.

What I found useful in FCP is to go very quickly between takes.

    Am I being clear ?

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.

Ok, so I have an edit friendly format in Prores, a better quality because of the Prores HQ bitrate, is there anything else I should care about ?

    Thanks

    Hey,

First, thanks to all for the quick reply, you guys are great.

I guess I should not work with Animation codec.
I guess I should also get more RAM and a bigger processor.
Having my config in mind, where do you think I should first put money on for better performance ?

What is your workflow when you’re dealing keying with PR and AE ?

    Thanks a lot

    Mat

Anti-aliased is off and the quality icon is on the right side…

The problem is in Illustrator. When I use the Text tool and write something, my text looks good.

The problem is the path itself, from the graphic designer. Maybe he used a bad font, or he did something wrong with the vectorization.

He made several text with different font each time. Some are bad like the one I showed you, but some are good…

I think I should try to talk about it wth him now…

    Thanks

    Hi,

I did enable the “continuously raserterize” button in AE.
The source file is an AI file.
Actually, the screenshots I posted are from Illustrator.
The thing is when I zoom far from 100%, like 6400% the letter looks ok. But when I’m close to 100% it looks bad…or maybe it looks the way it should be, but that’s not how I thought vector letters would be.
    I don’t get that.

    Thanks

  • Yeah ok.
I guess I’ll have to test my workflow before starting editing next time…

    Thanks very much Bret.
