I’m grading a reality show with similar to your with 1000 cut, i had the same problem, my workaround was to first import media files from the avid mediafiles folder in the mediapool and after import aaf.

Download Mpeg streamclip (https://www.squared5.com/) chose open dvd, set in and out point, then convert to your preferred format and edit it.

Open sequence settings (cmd+0), a load a prores preset from load sequence preset.

Hi paul. this effect depends also from camera movement. more the camera moves, the more the effect will be visible. I you publish on youtube, try export a de-interlaced movie.

It’s is normal, because you see interlaced footage on a computer monitor. Premiere use only one field in canvas or source monitor, in an exported QT (on a computer monitor) you see both field. What about the exported footage on a broadcast monitor (or television)?

to fit the workspace you need a minimum resolution of 1680×1050.
