August 27, 2018 at 1:55 pm in reply to: is it possible to copy a piece of stereo left track to stereo right ?Is not possible, but there is a workaround, open the clips attributes and change the clips audio to mono and edit it as a mono channel put the output pan pot respectively to left and right accordingly to the desired output, now you can do whatever you wont with the tracks

SendtoX is the only way to migrate directly from fcp7 to fcpx, otherwise you can use resolve (FCP7 TO RESOLVE TO FCPX) but is a little bit complicated. I remember that a couple of time in the past i opened a fcpexpress project to fcp7 without issue. if you need i have a copy of fcp7 and i can translate your sequence to xml. let me kow
