    thanks!!!

  • Definitely use Track Motion and put each arrow on its own track. With keyframing, it’s useful to think in terms of starting and ending positions. Set the beginning position of the arrow, then move to the point on the timeline where the motion stops and place the second keyframe. If you want the motion to be exactly linear (no acceleration), set the smoothness to 0.

    Hope this helps.

It sounds like you have added a second keyframe with the flip and forgot about the first keyframe which is set at normal. Zoom in on your keyframing timeline and delete the first keyframe.

When I had this problem, it turned out to be the firewire connection. Restarting was all it took.

  • you should be able to grab the axis of rotation in the resizing box and move it to where you want it to be.

Nevermind. I discovered the problem was that my subtitles were not completely within the title safe area, which is apparently required. I wanted them to be lower as this video will only be shown on a computer, not a TV, but you can’t burn the DVD without passing this test.

thanks for your reply. But I don’t want to render as a .wmv. I want to burn a DVD disc in DVDA then play it on a computer. When I popped it in, the WMP came up and played the DVD, but the subtitles didn’t show. I tried it in WinDVD, but couldn’t seem to turn the subtitles on either. What DVD player on the computer supports the subtitles?

It sounds like all you need to do is open both instances of Vegas and copy and paste.

Speaking of normalization in Vegas, is there a way to change the method of normalization to RMS averaging, or whatever it’s called in Sound Forge. When I normalize in Vegas, if there is a single loud noise, it doesn’t raise all the levels very much unless I split the audio clips and isolate the loud parts of the wave form.

    Elena,
I’m not sure about the ac3 file but try changing the Flash publish setting to Flash Player 5. Versions after that are not supported in Vegas.
