Tony,
I was able to download the ses file and load it into
audition. Wow, it is amazing what kinda of mood can be set
with just a few clips. I think you said this was for an art
project and I can really get the feel of a modern dance
routine. Really neat. You’ve inspired me to continue
learning and trying out things with Audition. Thanks again for sharing.

Tony,
Thanks for the comments on your experience. It seems that with
the power of Audition, more people would be using loops to create
soundtracks. I am not really a musician, but experiment and play
with loops, therefore, any time I find out about others experiences,
it helps. You wouldn’t want to share your soundtrack would you? Thanks again

Tony,
Glad to hear others are getting the loops to work.
Can you describe your workflow a little? Did you get
more loops from someplace or just use the ones that
came with Audition? How long of a music clip were
you able to create?Any thoughts are greatly welcomed.
Thanks

Willie,
Congrats on the fishing show. I’d love to hear how
you use the loops to create your music. I find that
I can usually come up with about 10-30sec clips, but
anything longer is very difficult. Where do you get
more loops for Audition, if you need them?Good luck… Will be waiting for any news. 🙂

December 12, 2005 at 5:43 pm in reply to: How to avoid fuzzy/ugly lines on credits/text?The biggest problem with text is interlaced video. Depending
on the placement, size and/or movement text will flicker or
look a little fuzzy. I’ve found that PPro 1.5 is aweful at
moving text because there is no pixel per second(velocity)
control. AE is great, but you don’t have the titler so Photoshop
needs to be used to create the cool text. I can’t remember
the formula exactly, but I think it is:The speed of the text must be an even multiple of the field
rate. Of course for NTSC this means that text moves really fast.
My solution has been to live with a little blur and move the
text at a rate of 1*field rate. The meyer’s book (volume 2) has a good section on this.

A few weeks ago, there was a brief demo of AE7.0 and it
showed working particles in AE. It might be wise to wait
for the AE 7.0 anouncement.Just a thought…

Brian,
I’m glad to hear that someone else has the same problem
as me. I’ve been doing a couple of projects recently where
I needed the automated chapter marker insertion. In fact,
I downloaded the SDK for PPro to see if I could write a
plugin to do this. Unfortunately, this kind of automation
is not supported in the SDK. There is a request feature
for it now.Good luck, and I feel your pain.

Thanks for pointing these out. The telephone filter with a little
adjustment works great. 🙂Mark

Thanks for this. I had no idea that it was even there. 🙂
It isn’t exactly what I need it is more of an old radio
broadcast, what I need is a fighter pilot talking over a radio.
However, it is a good place to start. Thanks!!

David,
Hey this is an interesting link. I’ve look at some
of the Encore menus, haven’t found the one I need,
but the site is now in my favorites. Thanks for pointing
it out.Mark
