    Tim,
Well I can definitely agree with the fact that you have to
cheer on your alma mater first and foremost, I’m glad to her that you cheer on the Beavs more than the Ducks. It just goes to show you that Mom’s know best.

While I can understand your logic for the Civil War,
I have to respectively disagree with it. If there is
one game to win in the season, yup, regardless of bowl
implications it’s the Civil War… Being an OSU grad I’d
    say I’m a little biased. 🙂

Thanks for the help with the overrides… The project is
finished and I’m off to learn more.

    David,
Thanks for the warning. I just ran into the issue
and thought that I had copied the wrong link. I guess
I’ll have to wait until tomorrow. 🙁

    RoadKill,
Wow… Thanks for the links. I’ve scene the Wrigley ones
(had to get some help with Premier). The Doogs Tutorials
are pretty cool, I’m going to have to spend some time
    at this site.

Thanks for taking the time to share the links. 🙂

    Tim,
Thanks for the help with this. I thought I had it
set up this way, but apparently not. I’ll go and test
    it again.
Thanks for the link to adobe evangelists. It is so
much fun to learn and see what others have done. 🙂

I see from your bio that you live in Beaverton. I
went to school at OSU. Hopefully you wear the Orange
and Black, not that Green and Yellow… 🙂

    Thanks again for the help.

    Jeff,
Do you see pulsating characters, flickering, or scanline resolution issues? I’ll have to try your idea, but I would have
thought that a PSD layer of text would look the same as
a text layer in AE… Guess thats my ignorance. 🙂

    Thanks for the idea.

May 25, 2005 at 9:51 pm in reply to: best antivirus software?

    Matthew,
I’ve been running Norton for a couple of years
now and there haven’t been any real problems. Other
than the occasional need to disable the virus protection
when writting a DVD it doesn’t really interfer with
    my limited workflow.

    What have you heard?

    Geo,
Yeah, I tried this, but as you said the previous
doesn’t work. Glad to hear that it wasn’t just me
doing something stupid. (at least in this case 🙂

May 23, 2005 at 4:33 pm in reply to: Playlists?

    Timothy,
Thanks for this clarification about the playlists. Like
you suggest I was hoping that this would be an easier way
to make multiple timeline work together. As it stands I’ve
done it both ways (one long timeline with chapters and one
with many short timelines with a playlist).
Its frustrating that we have such a cool little tool
in the playlists, but that they are missing some very
    important usability functions. Oh well.

    Thanks

    Steven,
What size and frate rate do you render out from particle
illusion? I am using 30FPS, 720×480, and 0.9 pixel aspect
    ratio.

    Any thoughts…
