Use the anchor point tool in the Canvas instead of adjusting it in the Inspector. When you adjust it in the Canvas, the Position values change automatically to compensate.

You have bypassed the new project dialog – you must have selected the checkmark to turn it off – turn it back on in preferences so that when you create a new project, you are prompted for a preset – choose Custom at the bottom of the list and choose your frame rate etc.

That’s because you are editing the project properties of an existing project. You create a NEW custom project, you can choose any frame rate you want.

Just create a new custom project (don’t start with a preset) and select the frame rate you want.

But if you are working with a screen grab, the vector nature of PDFs will have no impact because you are starting with a bitmap image.

It won’t be vector, you are making a bitmap image.

Final Cut Studio is not supported on a MacBook – that is the issue.

Sounds like your hardware doesn’t meet min requirements – what are you using?

Trashing preferences may help, or copying everything to a new project.

In the Properties tab of the Inspector, you can drag any parameter to another layer in the Layers tab to “paste” the value of that parameter. Drag the word “Transform” to drag all the transform parameters (position, scale, rotation, etc.) at once.
