1) Try changing the alpha channel interpretation by selecting the underlying media in the Media tab of the Project Pane, then going to the Media tab of the Inspector
2) John Knoll’s Unmult plugin should work fine in Motion, but been awhile since I tested it

I cannot understand you at all – graphics card reads particle phase? Video is nickel??

What codec are you rendering to? If DV, it’s terrible for text, and the worst for red text.

I don’t think there is any other way. Every dropzone is located in the same place so you can’t access the ones that are behind without going into the groups and replacing each one.

No, that’s probably the CPU calculating the position of all your particles.

Motion uses your graphics card primarily, not your CPU(s). A better card would increase performance if you have a stock card.
