You can also just drag any files or folders you want directly from a Finder window to the Photos Browser or the Music and Sounds Browser – quite a bit easier.

It’s likely that the duration of the drop zone is longer than your video – when the video comes to the end, it holds the last frame.

In the Properties Inspector, change the End Condition to Hold. Trim as long as you want.

You should also publish the Position parameters of each drop zone so you can adjust the position of the video inside the mask.

By the way if you *don’t* have Motion 5 installed, you *won’t* have the necessary folder structure for placing that title into. You’ll need to create a “Motion Templates” folder in your “Movies” folder, and inside it, create folders for “Titles”, “Transitions”, “Effects”, and “Generators”.
And still, this won’t work until you do a get info (command-I) on each folder and add the “.localized” extension.
THEN it should work.

Ethan, you can just select your long clip in the Event Library, right-click and choose Open in Timeline.
There, you can color-correct the entire clip. Now your Event version is corrected, and and sections of it that you add to your project will contain the correction.—

I’m surprised you are able to run Motion 5 on your machine since the Radeon 1900XT is not a supported card.

If you move the baseline, the text will scale from the new baseline position – so move the baseline so that the anchor point appear in the horizontal middle of the text, and the text will scale from the horizontal middle. The sequence text behavior works great with this approach when animating scale.
