Installing the new FCP X and Motion 5 moves your legacy FCS apps to a new Final Cut Studio folder in your Applications folder, but shouldn’t impact Motion 4’s library at all. Try re-pointing Motion 4 to the Library location in Motion > Preferences in the General tab. The path should be /Library/Application Support/Final Cut Studio/Motion

I am not using Lion. The ones I have are the Core Image Units from the OS (there are Image Unit Filters and Generators) – I really think you got yours elsewhere somehow, I don’t believe they are part of the standard install. Are you on Lion??

I do not have those filters installed – they must have been some sort of custom install. Does anyone else have them?

Where do you see those image units? I checked in Generators and in Filters and I don’t see either one.
