Have you tried setting the Render Quality to Best in the Export options?

What codec are you using? You need to use one that supports an alpha channel, like Animation or ProRes 4444.

This usually happens with free downloaded fonts that aren’t designed correctly. You can try opening FontBook and validating the font.

Ah. Pictures sure help. I thought the soccer ball was part of a video. Those filters only work on a video clip – they won’t do anything to an animated graphics, as you can see. What you want to do is turn on Motion Blur under the pop-up menu at the top right – the names have changed in Motion 5, it’s now the Render menu, I can’t remember the name in Motion 4, but it’s a button at the top right of the Canvas. You can adjust the shutter angle in Edit > Project Properties.
It will create longer render times, but should give you what you are looking for.

I would not do a RAM preview. I would just export the play range you are interested in, it will be faster.
What is the resolution of your images? That can have a huge impact.

Your specs are decent – what is the resolution of the images your are using? Some templates are very complex and just can’t be played in real time. Disabling or soloing layer, changing the resolution and/or quality setting under the View menu, clear your RAM cache often (Mark > RAM Preview > Clear RAM Preview), and setting small play ranges are all techniques for working with complex projects.

What are your computer specs, how much RAM, and what graphics card? Motion uses the graphics card heavily, that is the most important part.

Have you asked the vendor who sold you the template?
