You’ll likely have to keyframe the mask points and/or mask position. You can technically track the mask but likely easier to just keyframe.

I would just use the Slit Tunnel or Slit Scan filter.

I would skip the camera and just use the Scale Over Life parameter to make the particles look like they are streaming toward you.

Throw is meant more for ongoing animations that don’t start or stop. I would just use Move instead, or use keyframes for more control with the easing by using a Bezier interpolation so you can adjust the handles.

The anchor point doesn’t have any inherent rotation that affects the object – it is just the point in 3D space around which an object scales and rotates. To change an object’s rotational axes you use the HUD where you can choose the axes of the object itself, the axes of the world, or the axes of your current viewpoint.
