I have some elements in a Motion project and this behavior is driving me nuts. Let’s say I have a Text element that has text in it already, and then I need to change the text. The text has no keyframes at all, and with the new text I input, it’s not off alignment, so I reposition it. Now it has keyframes and will animate from the old position to the new, requiring me to go in and delete these. I haven’t found a way to turn off this behavior, is that possible?

Sounds like you accidentally have record keyframes turned on – the A key toggles it on/off.

That looks like that did the trick, thanks!
