I’ll take a swing at the method you offer in your conjecture and see what happens. Its a bit more in the weeds than I really want to be , but if it saves a little time by helping port those time lines over to FCP it might be worth the effort.</p>

I haven&#8217;t tried  Track E at 24 bit, which could be an open avenue.</p>

The issue I am having is in post where even though I have synced timecode between the track E an a tentacle mounted on camera, in this case a Pocket 6 K pro. When I sync the audio file with the camera file using timecode the Track E recording is 30 ish subframes ahead of the  c&hellip;</p>

Nothing against resolve other than any app with a 4000 page  pdf for a manual needs to slow its roll a fair amount. Resolve is a fine editor, I prefer X, man&hellip;</p>

I use them with either Sanken COS -11 or countryman B6 mics in 32 bit float recording and they have been great. There is a leap of faith one takes with these because you can’t monitor them as you would a radio mic, but after a year + of field use in some pretty tough situations, I have no complaints. I&#8217;ve been using Track E recorders for a year or more now and have had to voice iso in a number of situations and X handles those tracks and Resolve did not voice iso a 32 bit track when I tried it yesterday.</p>

I would be much happier working in X with support for Braw as described above. Resolve is great for Grading,  ok as an edit platform ( there are pluses and minuses) .  Maybe I am not a real editor, whatever, I think X suits me far better for editing.  R&hellip;</p>

I have found that the worst thing is additive stabilization &#8216;Mush&#8217; so if you use IBIS with lens optical you have to be really careful. I came across an example of this on a recent project, and admittedly the shooting situation was fringe &#8211; hand held from a&hellip;</p>

I have Resolve, but rarely use it, FCP just suits me better, though I have to say Resolve is quite a package.</p>

I already have done a manual match myself for the same 2 cameras on another project, and I figured I would try the tool just for th heck of it. I have a multicam clip that needs a little tune up color matching wise &#8211; I shot with.a C330 mk2 and a BMPC 4k . I shot color charts so I know what’s going on with each camera and while to the eye they are close there are differences. I thought I would try to use the color m&hellip;</p>

I had one funky transcode on a short clip, which came out ok on second attempt. I was hoping for BRAW implementation in X, which cold maybe still happen but until such time  the Colro Finale plug in will be a welcome addition.</p>

If so, how would you rate/recommend It? Its not an expensive plug in so cost is not an issue, I’m more interested in how functional it is. </p>
<p>I’m also wondering about whether now that there is a plug in available, Apple’s next up date to X will include BRAW functionality. The g&hellip;</p>
