Thanks for the response. It gives me the option to search for the 4012 missing clips, and when I point to the drive and folder where the media is, it cannot find the file

Thanks for the info. U Da Man… Will try to output the 1080i signal to 1080 23.97p as you suggested.

Thanks Ryan for the info. What is strange is that is detects the signal out of the Mark 3 as 1080i 59.57, even when it is set to 108024p. It is a false detection.

I am editing prores LT. I duplicated the few sequences that I needed and created a new project, but it still gives me the message.

I have a Canon 5D Mark111 and own a various number of mics including the Sennheiser 416 which requires 48V phantom power. I have found that the Rode Pro Mic works great when I mount it to boom pole and use it as a “shotgun” mic. I have even adapted the 3.5 mini plug to an XLR adapter and used it with the lectosonics “butt plug” and then went wireless into the camera directly. The RODE PRO mic has a warm sound and does not require any EQing like the 416. I’m sure the all the anal audio sound men will be prejudiced to this mic without ever hearing it. It sells for less than $250.

Thanks for the info about 10.6.8 being the LAST official operating system for FCP 7. I did not know that. The only reason I need to upgrade to to use Plural Eyes 3 for doing double system syching of audio, and it requires OS 10.7 .. or higher

I am using a IMAC 2.5 running FCP 7 and I can play back PRORES LT 1920×1080 with no spinning ball. The only difference with my system is that I have 16gigs of RAM. Ram is a cheap upgrade so I suggest you upgrade from 8gigs
