  • Cloned back up drive does not link media. All media missing

Posted by Mark Shepherd on February 24, 2018 at 6:02 pm

I have been cloning my drives for years using Carbon Copy CLoner with no problems, but after recently switching to Premier Pro CC 2017 , when I open up my recent project on the cloned drive, all the media is missing from the project. in this case thousands of files. The cloned drive is the same name as the original media drive. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance for any help

are you prompted to relink? and if so, can you point to the files?

Thanks for the response. It gives me the option to search for the 4012 missing clips, and when I point to the drive and folder where the media is, it cannot find the file

Does the drive have the exact same name as the original?

I’m a bit confused. When you look on the cloned drive you cannot find a matching file to re-link to?
