OUT OF MEMORY message just keeps on popping up in FC7
I am editing a very small FCP 7 project with NO STIllS, and very few open sequences and no other programs running in the BG. I am getting the ERROR MESSAGE “out of memory” all the time. I never had it so bad. Rendering is next to impossible, I have to render to short in and out points. Any solution besides going to FCP X or Premier. I have 16 gigs of ram on my system. Help Help Thanks

What format are you editing? Have you tried a “Save As” to save a new project file, shut down the computer for a few minutes, trash preferences?

I am editing prores LT. I duplicated the few sequences that I needed and created a new project, but it still gives me the message.
