    That was the right direction MG 🙂 I only THOUGHT i was changing the aspect ratio of the pic. I now get that I have to change the format to “square” in the browser and then bring the clip back down to the sequence/timeline. Control clicking on the clip in the seq does nada. Thanks for taking the time to respond. ~m

    I’ve used square and 601 or whatever that DV one is, lower field, no dominant field. No render good. Rendered, bad.

    But I’ve never had this problem before. I’ll try a different setting, and I am monitoring externally. Obviously a cockpit problem using fcp6
