After you add the markers, change the event browser view to list view (cmd-opt-2), hit the small triangle next to the clip name and you will see a list of your markers.

Yes, I discovered, as I explained, that you can go back and adjust the individual audio tracks, but that yes, you must go back to the event, then double-click to open the clip in the angle editor, then once inside the angle editor, select the clip with the audio, and open that in timeline view mode, and adjust the separate audio tracks in there.
I found that the changes I made to the audio in the angle editor migrated to the clip already in my timeline.
It’s rather awkward, but it works.
If you aren’t hearing your changes, I wonder if you have the correct multicam clip selected for audio monitoring. If you make the changes to one angle’s clip but monitor the other angle you won’t hear the changes.

Nope.
But compressor and limiter filters work pretty well.
Keyframes are pretty easy to add.
You can modify levels for ranges.We’ll be able to record audio keyframes when they add that function. Hopefully that will be soon.

Snow leopard.
Single boot.
FCP7 installed on the same drive, as per Apple instructions for single boot.I’m thinking about Lionizing my mac.
It’s tough to do when I’m happy with the way things are working.except for the crazy fan-blowing mystery processing, which I assume happens in Lion as well.

I asked this question recently as well.
No indication of anything happening in the background, yet my processor is cooking on all cores.
Closing FCPX and reopening seems to settle it down.
One of the little things we need to embrace about it.
If someone has an answer, I’ll give them a star!

Try using keywords.
Skim through your clips in the event browser, select the range of the good part of a clip, and apply a keyword. You can use cmd-K, or if you have a keyword collection created for your selects, just drag and drop the range of the clip onto the keyword folder.
Once you have highlighted all the good parts, you can select the keyword folder, and only your good bits will be visible. You can then select them all and drop them in a timeline.
Keywords are very powerful.

I agree with Mark. If your footage isn’t 720, why change the timeline?
Export the entire timeline as a 720 clip using the export using compressor settings. If you don’t have a preset for 720p that you’re happy with, create one in compressor.

Same thing happened.
Use the V tool to try to isolate the problem clip.
Once you find the clip with the phantom audio, select the clip in the timeline and opt-cmd-C to copy the properties, use a shift-f to find the clip in the bin, then replace the clip in the timeline with itself (the clip in the bin), then opt-cmd-v to paste the properties back onto the clip.
You may need to do some audio trimming if you created a split edit.
This was the simplest way I found to work-around this bug. And it is a bug.

I’m with Bill. Let’s discuss this in 3-4 years, which would be 2.5 compared with 1999 years.
I wonder if the 443 hours of footage for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo might have benefited from the tagging power of X?
I’m sure someone is already working on tools for using XML to conform the final print for editing features on FCPX.
I’ve seen how Walter Murch assembles photos on his wall representing shots in his bins. I’ll bet someone could even create an app to integrate with X that will automatically give Walter his images, let him select the representative frames, and then let him flip through them on his ipad. And the app will be $10.
I think the sky’s the limit, and I’m excited to what’s next.
It’ll be interesting to see how much editors like Baxter and Wall will continue to work with Final Cut Pro 7, even though it’s eol’d.
