[Todd Kopriva] “What more are you expecting? “
only thing more I would expect is you do us all a favor and make this information accessible on the AE page! You would probably get allot more business. (how the heck do you find what you sent me?)
i looked for info on this when AE9 came out and could not find anything bout Mocha being included!i will be upgrading tonight!
Thanks Mark

Thanks for the reply,
i am looking on your site,
https://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/features/?view=topnew
You information is very brief and seems to be geared towards the first time buyer.
As an AE user for over 6 years I want to quickly see what i am getting if I upgrade. i see a new planet tracker but how does it work?? You guys have always lacked this information and seem to rely on training that you have to pay for to get how this stuff works! you cant even figure i out if you read the manual!
Sorry getting worked up a bit about the subject, flashing back to trying to learn this software years ago.Take a look as the new Final Cut Studio page, they have really complete movies to shoe you what is now and how it work!
Mark

July 4, 2008 at 6:51 pm in reply to: AE clips highlights from clips exported from FCP!Joey,
AE is in 16 bit mode.
If I import the the clip back into FCP without going to AE it looks fine. it is only when going to AE I have a problem. i have to bring down the highlights in FCP then export to AE to make sure nothing changes.
Thanks, Mark

Finally found a solution! https://www.mpeg2works.com/ Great software much cheaper than that crap program cleaner and only $25. this program saved my ass!
I still cant believe Compressor cant make a .mpg!
Hope anyone else with this dilemma will find the answer here.
Thanks for the help.

[billlee] “Gosh-darn, you are absolutely right there Tom. Hadn’t looked at the standard MPEG-2 setting for so long.
If you just need a MPEG-2 Transport stream then I’d go with Tom’s solution, but you may still need MPEG Streamclip if you need to create Program streams or have Dolby Digital (.ac3) audio multiplexed in your Transport/Program stream. It all comes down to what the device that is supposed to be playing back this MPEG-2 requires, and also what format you have already.

The Files Compressor make in this format do not even play in QT, these are still m2v and are not mpg. For some reason I can not make a file that will play in the device I need them to play in even though I see all the specs are the same as example file I have that do work! THis is driving me nuts!
Thanks for the help, Mark
