thanks guys for the help… i ended up breaking it into two dvds, but next time i’ll use the quicktime using reference file option instead of self contained movie.

i guess i really don’t need to export an uncompressed DV QT mov. The final product will be a DVD. Is this where I should export using compressor? i really am ignorant about outputing to DVD.

how would you guys get a 2hr DV NTSC timeline to DVD quickly and painlessly?

and yes another HD is on the list. thanks guys!

eghad! i was hoping that wasn’t the issue… now how am i gonna free up enough HD space?

So how much space does one need to make an uncompressed QT mov from 2 hours of a DV NTSC timeline?

thats exactly it. and i think thats what we’ll end up doing, because i can’t find the digisuite codec for mac anywhere.

oh and “now is there a way capture just these clips from their IN/OUT points with out capturing the entire clip.” should be a question.
