Thanks for the quick response Matte.

Well I tried that but didn’t work.

Now I am getting the following message when I try to “Reconnect Media” from the bin:
    ___________
Some attribute of on or more of the files you have chosen do not match the atrributes of the original.
This may cause problems within the sequences that are dependent on them. The attributes that
    differed are as follows:

    -Media Start and End
    -Rate

Would you like to connect them again?
    _________

The acutal QT files are all broken into short peices (10 to 20 seconds). Not the whole clips i logged them as (4 to 5 min in length)

help! something screwing is going on in my capture.

one other thing…. currentlly i am using the deck to monitor audio. i haven’t found a way to monitor the HDV audio via the FCP log and capture window. Is it even possible using firewire?

i am now trying to monitor throught the sony HDV deck and scrapping trying to monitor using FCP 5 log and capture window.

One problem: I can log the clips fine, but when i try to “batch capture,” the deck just plays. It doesn’t record anything and it doesn’t stop at the out point.

can someone help me out here… please!?!?
