Hello. Had the same issue. The only way I got rid of them is I put the “deinterlace” effect on all
of the problem shots. I believe that filter is under Effects/Video Filters/Video (the second one).

Try that. Hope that helps.

No. But why the heck does it do that? Its a pain in the a** and if you want to color correct its a bigger pain.

Thanks for the reply. Its not a Y spliter its a DVI distribution amplifier that has 2 DVI inputs and one DVI output. You did bring up a good point about signal power. It just doesn’t make sense because this dvi spliter should not have this problem since its an amplifier also.

Another option I saw on the apple website was to get a dual DVI card for the G5. Will that slow me down?

This setup is for doing multiple tasks such as photoshop, FCP, compression. The flat panel is for presenting videos to our clients.

Its a complex project. The files are around 1.5 all the way up to 40mb. The show will consist of around 75% of picture content. Reducing the size of the picts is something we don’t want to do because it is going to be
shown on a globe projection screen 1600×1200. The G5 has about 1.5gig of ram. You think I should up the ram?

Bare with me. Where could I find the quality bars? I tried the title crawl generator and
when its unrendered it shows that it crawls but when I render it … it just sits there.
