Instant sex is cool, but if you want to make it even cooler, apply the tritone filter along with the gaussian blur filter to the top layer. Then set the composite mode of the top layer to something like soft light or add. Add may be a little bright, but you can always adjust the opacity of the top layer.

I love applying tritone along with a composite mode. Most people just apply tritone, so you get even colour across the board. With above mentionned method, you get colours applying to only the luminance. You can do this with pixel-chooser, but trust me, this is way cooler. Want that 70’s look ??? Try making the midtone colour a magenta shade. Want warmer tones, go towards orange, cooler tones, then go to the blues.

Thanks Guys,

I am going to remove 2.0 and all associated clips and re-install 1.5. I have read a few opinions about 2, and for the amount I use Audition (I am a video editor), it is not worth my time trouble-shooting this.

I get nothing……the hour glass appears briefly, I hear the drive spin, and then nothing….

I have called tech support, problem is that when I get a chance to call, I am not in front of the machine. They sent me the tech doccument and I did try some of the things on it. The option of formatting the drive and then re-installing windows is not an otion…I will use Audition 1.5 if I have to….it runs very nicely.

Make sure that you leave Liquid alone, even though it is hanging. It is most likely searching for plugs…this can take up to 2 minutes. If that doesn’t work, post in the Avid Liquid forum and we’ll continue there.

For this, I usually create a “dead” comp. It is a composition that has nothing in it. It is basically a transparent layer.

Make sure that in the prefs, use host settings is checked, then in the render tab, make sure that render better field rendering is unchecked.

Make sure that you install Borisfx after you have installed Liquid.
Now, in the library within Liquid, it should be under the added clip effects section. Also it should be listed under the added transitions section in the library.
