  • Nope. I already said in my previous post that he didn’t move files in Events folder. I made sure to stress this because I knew people would jump to that assumption.

Thanks so much for trying though…

Got it now from a helpful soul. It’s the Draft 3D feature, which is a few buttons to the right of the search bar on the timeline.

Also, have layer controls selected (Ctrl/cmd + shift = H). Wasn’t my problem in this case, but also important.

Thank you. I didn’t realize about the Draft 3D function. An enormous help. I’m gonna go post it on other peoples’ threads about this.

Having the same problem. Afraid I don’t really understand the previous answer. If I did, how do I unselect it? There are also pics and links on the answer which just lead to some general helpscreen for after effects… I tried searching that too, just to be polite I guess before posting here.

Has anyone actually solved this one?

Did this not get solved? Having a similar problem as this person is. My layers are set to accept light, my light set to cast shadow. However, I don’t see the light. I can remove all lights from the scene and still see everything. I know there’s probably some simple view option or setting to fix this, but can’t for the life of me figure it out. Anyone?

Thanks a lot, you two! Yeah, I looked everywhere for the command, not realizing it had to be enabled. CatDV might want to update their reference guide on that just a smidge…

  • We solved the problem. It was referencing an IP address the comp was using, but not the right IP address for the particular connection. Still not sure why the other IP address didn’t work over the internet connection, but so be it…
