I bet the machine itself is slowest part on your setup if drives are not slow?
Older versions of Resolve did not even work on 3.1

As Marc said no auto tool can fix camera footage when some serious woodoo has been applied
to the footage in your camera body before recording.Peter has pointed at that also in some other thread or forum.
I feel that Marc’s way of balancing “ligth” and adjust colour to taste is rather fast if you are experienced
with scopes.—

Could it be that parsing and colour encoding methods are changed?
This is like you open up BMC material in AE or in Resolve.
IN theory same file but different method how to use the data that is in the file.

If you go to 24 or 25 does not matter id all the other material is
variable in many ways. Just see that it works out for you and
for the sound guys.You just have to see which way works you best and use it consistently.
