Like Marc says it is good idea to have one frame rate to avoid sync problems.
Later on you just convert what ever you need and for feature work sound guys usually
know how to approach it.Important question is how the edit is done.
I had a feature that was shot on red and 25 fps.
For some reason it was edited on 24 FPS.
There was some ramps and there was some VFX. And some was on 24 fps and some on 25.So you could imagine the mayhem i had to go trough conforming and finalising that
project. So if you can look in to the future and foresee the workflow that gives you less problems
that would be the way to go. Of course you have to talk it over with sound guys.—

Yes.
That was what i meant and could not put in words.
I use Annotation Edit for that. Really nice app that helps in spotting a lot.
Really like it. Made in Germay.https://www.zeitanker.com/content/tools/zeitanker_tools/zeitanker_annotation_edit/
But after that is done in dedicated app it should be as simple as importing EDL
on dedicated track and generating title “items” on timeline. This is how it happens in NLE depending now on title app it they are
in image format or just inserted as titles but their location in timecode.I prefer second option and it would make sense to be able to use subtitles
also like this that they are still “data” and relatively small and could be added to project.Making hard burn in subtitled DCP would be so much neater like that.

not as fas as i know for now.
you could do video file with alpha for that and use on one layer.
long time ago i talked about that to Peter but it stayed there
as i got occupied for a moment. In tech sense it should be simple as reading del but
now it depends a bit what would be the imported file format to support.—

Also try Prores HQ and see what happens.
Both Youtube and Vimeo “eat it” despite the warnings it says you on the way.

Clients usually ask to see material in “normal” position regardless the original material.
If you have a lot of this kind of material then it is painful.

Also the flips and flops need to have offline footage to be seen all the time so the comparison would not
go away.I see it also on commercials when steady cam is used some times as the images are upside down.
For feature and documentary work this is really annoying to jump back and forth.

In v11 you have more control over h264.
You can upload Prores HQ to youtube and vine and get better results than using mp4.
I use it all the time.

You can rename thousands of file or folder names in few seconds if you need to remove or replace some
of the characters in file names.Try to use underscore instead of /.
If you need i can send you even workflow if our Automators mach.
It is really simple drag and drop.
