Of course all 3 rd party panels are a compromise!
When i work on Elements i feel all the time that there is more speed
available with ui but it is possible on big BM panel.
The fact that half the key shortcuts does not work (probably my os or keyboard issue that has to bee solved)
does not help either.The main reason is the speed you get even if you do not go to the linux way.
BM panel gives you the option to work faster.I somewhat feel that speed difference and direct access of functions are not
talked enough so people would understand why you would want to get one.
So this is just not linux but the direct access to functions at your fingertips
what makes you work faster. I’m considering really strongly getting one.Have also worked on MC and it felt kind of un usable to me with long delay in responses and frequent
disconnected problems.Would go with elements for now despite MC as if any hiccups then simple machine boot
would get rid of them.—

It used to be that you could export and import edit that scene cut made.
Refer to the current manual you have for v10 or v11.

It really depends on editor. Some say PP is no good some say they only use avid.
I see that it really is down to shortcuts how fast can one edit and get jobs done.
Timeline fluid interaction also helps a lot.We will see how good will it be and if it could be adopter by editors.
Mostly they seem to be sort of conservative as platform changers.

Better to let them iron out bugs than have it super early.
At least i would prefer working copy without bugs.
Was working yesterday on 10 and many annoying things bothered me.
I would better wait for “clean” version.—

Oh and it probably would help to burn in TC and file name to proxy files
and get back ref file with your del etc.—

I would go and make proxy files for editing from resolve and have correct file / reel names and TC.
Other than that it should be fine.
