Phantom .cine workflow for Resolve
Hello,
I was hoping for some advice regarding working with .cine files in Resolve 10 (full version).
I’ll be grading a 2 minute promo / commercial from about 500gb of Phantom .cine rushes. As yet, I haven’t loaded them into Resolve, but from what I can see they are fully supported and work for grading on any fast / Blackmagic kitted-out machine…is this correct? Is there anything I should watch out for working with .cine files in Resolve?
The editor has discovered a timecode discrepancy between the EDL from Avid and the .cine files when they are loaded into Resolve apparently, so I will have to eyematch the program…there are not a lot of cuts so this is not too much of a problem.
If anybody had any advice, it’s much appreciated!
Penny
