Alexa you want to transcode to what ?

WIth latest update to resolve red stuff seemed to get much faster.

I have no way to compare with RR but i assume it would go much faster with
many gpu’s.

Also machine cpu and io speed plays role here.

You have to think all of them.

Caldigit has some arrays that do 850 MB and some bigger ones coming out in the future
i assume.

You may even in some point get rid of the RR and put in one more 780.

On paper if cubix has the power then it should work.

I have 780 older model and 4000 as gui and 5k material in 2k timeline is RT at 25 fps on hd or 2k timeline
with full daybayer quality. I gets at least 5 nodes like this. Maybe a bit more.

Latest Resolve update with red gpu sdk support makes it cool and makes RR not needed in some point.

LIke Jordan says you can “send” just the final mix to resolve if you would like
to master like that.

Done that many times.

Or if you would want to master from your editor you just “send” i.e. use
graded material as your video track.

Works both ways and should be super simple.

Have you talked about it with support ?

It may be also a bug as not much people i assume do not use SD any more.

Also see that your image path is set up so that machos your material.

If you look SD in HD timeline it ma also happen like this some time.

You could do then one universal edit so to say where similar shots follow each other?

Then grade it and re link in nle if mastering ?

We do it a lot that we grade extended shots or versions of shots and then relink them in editor.

Or if there is not massive amount of windows there you could use still frames or colour
trace and re track windows where needed.

You could go which ever way suits you more.

I wonder if all the 2000 clips is actually used?

After red trim emerged it seems no reason to tidy up jobs.

Ok you need some other app for your format but still.

It is good idea to have nice and tidy jobs.

I have worked with feature with 3 tb material in it but
it had similar opening and closing timespan so to say.

At that time it did not bother me but now i see no reason to go this way.
