prores 4444 should be really usable in sense of workflow compared to dpx
should run on most of the systems and have color data also intact.
10b 422 would be also fine if you do not want to go extremes in post as pointed before.

Yeah i see it daily and it is there.
It is better not to look at UI when you have video running.
But does this affect you a lot ?

What do you mean by digital ?
I think it depends a bit also how material is filmed?
If white is crushed or not.

Something iu just figured if avid could save layouts then it is simple.
Just drag all you layout to second monitor and save custom lay out.
I’m not sure if avid can do it but in any other modern software it works really well.
Hope it works out like this.
