I’ll have to get more RAM then;-)

I’m using AE 10.0.1 so I’m upto date at the minute.

    Thanks for the comments

    Hi

No I haven’t got ‘From current time’ checked. I have already got a cache folder set up.

I have 6.5 gig assigned to AE and 1.5 assigned to other apps (8 Gig RAM in total on machine)

I think the problem might of been not enough memory to preview the work area because I’ve tried to ram preview 45secs worth and it just stopped at about 30sec and started playing the timeline.

After a recent email with BM they advised me that firmware can’t become corrupt they say if it had become corrupt it would of been during the update it’s self and thus the card would not function.

So the corrupt drivers can affect FCP prefs aswell? Because my auto save isn’t working and if I select a still frame to be 10sec it comes out as 20sec!

    Thanks for your reply

    Hi

I got there in the end by having a good look around. I was thrown because say in AE all the presets etc are in the root of the application so I assumed the same for the Media Encoder.

    Thanks for the reply!

I was using the Co ordinates section underneath the main view window. I take it that those are the actual co ordinates of anything that is selected BUT if I was to make a change or key frame I have to do that it the item’s (camera) tab over on the right hand side of the screen (default position)
