I know this is the PP page but there isn’t a Media Encoder page so I thought that I might get an answer here. Where are Adobe Media Encoder stored within the Mac file system I have looked through the Media Encoder’s files and can’t find a preset I made?

    Thanks

They’re stored the Device central stuff in your Main Library:

    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Device Central/CS5/Presets/AME

You’re not finding it because spotlight is set to NOT search ‘system’ files.

If you do a search in the finder…
Switch it to file name (from content.)
Then hit the plus (next to save on the right side).
Then go to the drop down and change kind to “other” – add System files and then choose ‘are included”

    Best,

    Hi

I got there in the end by having a good look around. I was thrown because say in AE all the presets etc are in the root of the application so I assumed the same for the Media Encoder.

    Thanks for the reply!
