Sorry didn’t explain fully the image isn’t actually full screen its one of three image boxes that occupy the screen with a small movement. It takes up possible a quarter of the viewer.

Just tried with both a PNG & TIFF and got the same results. The problem happens when the image is scaled below 60% of the size it was saved in PS

Sequence is already at ‘none’ I always work in progressive 720p
I usually always work with TGA files and never had any issues before. Could it be the scaling of the images that cause this though?Thanks for the reply

Thats for your thoughts. I have sorted it now I didn’t realise that when you just export the whole set of layer from inside AI, even though the text layer were compound layers, that they showed up in C4D ready for editing (extruding).

Just was concerned that the two apps (Motion 3 & 5) would work ok on the same system really. I knew about the round tripping thats not a problem right now. I’m just slowly transitioning from FCS2 to FCP X Motion 5 and I have a ton of old projects that I need to access so being cautious and making sure my system(s) keep running normally.

I think Ive just diagnosed the problem (don’t know whether this is a known bug?) When I edit to the freeze clip back into the timeline using an in & out point and Fit to Fill it doesn’t seem to recognise the clip, however if I use the usual F10 command it works fine.

Thats why it through me because I didn’t realise that you had to add an effect because in Motion you can just tab between the different kinds of transformations. Thats why originally I thought it might be a Shift or CTL key or combination of the two so you can isolate one of the corners.
