Ok.. solved it. Simple.. You need to copy .CUBE files from the LUT folder in Premiere to the LUT folder in Media Encoder.

The whole PROJECT TRIM part seems to be full of bugs… A TRIM PROJECT operation might result in success but then opening the trimmed project you will find total crap.. with things moving around and the trimmed clips not being the ones you wanted (trimmed in different points or so)

ATEM is basically a 6 input device so in theory I could use Wirecast for “effects” (PIP and so) and for sound delay… but you’re telling me it’s chunky.. so in the end.. regarding effects I just have to go with ATEM and regarding delay (if any) I’ll have to get an hardware like Behringer DEQ2496 i guess.
An inbetween direct camera for PIP is not really a solution I think… just complicates all because you could do PIP only with that camera and you need the two softwares on at the same time, etc…

sorry .. I am buying now the ATEM Television Studio and I am a bit confused on what could be my best setup. My goal is a small portable setup for small jobs. I understand that later firmware updates get audio from HDMI and HD-SDi streams. I immagine it is possible to choose one of the audio streams as a master so you switch cameras but keep the same audio. If I go from the line mixer into the nearest camera’s XLR inputs I will be gettin master audio on that camera… Still I could have delay though because we are not talking of the camera mic audio.. or no?
Also I am interested in WIRECAST.. how does it work with ATEM.. can you use that software instead of ATEM controller software or is it just for recording video? I am new to this kind of configuratiions so I don’t understand… I can use ATEM with other softwares? I can control effects, transitions etc.. on wire cast? What about this 1s delay in wire cast.. is it good?If wirecast works fine and I can put audio into one camera to get it back together with the video.. I will not need Behringer (neither SCR2496 or DEQ2496.. confirmed?). So basically I just need the ATEM and that’s it ?

Let’s say I have a 60i footage
Normally I could create a 30p footage by merging in someway the two fields that are present for each frame.I would like to create 60p footage so to make either smooth progressive video or from there good 50% 30p slowmotion
To do this I need a script that works this way…
Upper Field of frame 1 + Lower Field of frame 1 merged to create frame ONE
Lower field of frame 1 + Upper Field of frame 2 merged to create frame TWO
Upper field of frame 2 + Lower Field of frame 2 merged to create frame THREE
Lower field of frame 2 + Upper Field Of frame 3 merged to create frame FOUR
Etc etcThis should produce good quality 60p with no extra interpolation than a normal deibterlace and the whole process should be very fast

Got the following configuration but can’t get BM Intensity Pro to work on Premiere 5.5.0. ) not 5.5.1.)
Mac Pro
Leopard Snow
Premiere 5.5.0.
BMD 8,6 updateBM Intensity Pro works fine inside it’s own MEDIA EXPRESS but not in Premiere CS 5.5.0
What happens is that the card seems to be invisible in Premiere.
If I go to Sequence settings / Playback I don’t see BMD has options for playback or export
If I go in Preferences / Playback I can switch to BMD (so here it finds it).. I get a screen flash but nothing changes.. No video playback on my monitor (HD component)
I also checked in the MAC OSx Settings but nothing happens whatever I do (HDMI, analogue, component.. etc…)The card, except for the Preferences menu, seems invisible to Premiere.
I also tried FINAL CUT 7.0 (worked fine without the update) and now just works in pause. When I hit spacebar for PLAY video will not move
Any ideas ?

I knew about this bidirectional HDMI but it seems Samsung is not adopting this system. They rely only on optical output and this is where I have the problem.
Yes.. this DNLA is amazing. I am trying to push it to the limits.. I seem able to watch a 10 Gb file rippred from a Blueray… I get problems with a 24 rip that breaks down in playback.
At first I streamed to iPad with Air Video wich is a great software (still haven’t found something better in DNLA standard).. but unfortunately is not DNLA compliant (only for iPad or iPod).
At present the best solutions I found for Mac are Eyeconnect and Vuze. The first is 50$ and allows PAUSE in the video. The second is free but once the video starts the only other option is STOP… Al these softwares seem to have problems with FFWD and REW.
But at present.. is almost all fixed.. a part from this optical cable that pssses only stereo info and not 5.1 info (really a pity)

I am trying this but doesn’t seem to work.
I did a long job with no effects. I then did color correction etc.. then my client asked many changes. I would like to switch off the effects rendering, edit as normally in realtime, and then turn the effects on again at the end before rendering.
What happens is nothing. I switch off FILTERS etc. I even select DRAFT but nothing seems to change… the timeline shows still the red line and playback is not reall time (I get the RENDR blu sing). Am I missing something?siRoma di Marcello Mazzilli
