  • Removing Audio Channels From MPEG HD (MXF) in Rhozet Carbon Coder

    Hello

First time post so I hope its not to badly written out.

I am having to set up a transcode preset in Rhozet Carbon Coder where the output is a 1920 x 1080 P @ 25 fps MPEG HD (.mxf) with stereo audio (4 channels).

Unfortunately I am unable to get the audio settings to change to only 4 audio tracks (it is greyed out on this setting so won’t allow any modification)

Does anyone know of anyway around this/any audio filters I could use to remove the unwanted audio channels.

Ideally I don’t want to go through editing software as it defeats the purpose of my transcode.

Currently I am using the “XDCAM Exporter” preset within Rhozet Carbon Coder.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks

Wondering if you found a solution to this.. I need to handle hours of MXF with 8channels of ausio and I’d like to remove them to avoide Adobe Premiere to do the conforming.. Don’t need the audio
