I deliver a time code burn till paid in full. Gives the clients something to see and it’s easy for them to make comments if there is a problem with the edit. Now I’m posting password protected copies to my Vimeo account, very easy for me to update and not have to worry about “copies” floating all over the place.

I have a Canon 7D, s-RGB or Adobe RGB is selectable on the menu. 4:2:0 for movie shooting.

So I take it the 45 day full time job was worth it? Did you raise enough money to compensate you for your time and have production funds, or was it a wash?

If you have too many “investors” vs. a few “partners” you fall under SEC guidelines, which is very expensive. Better to set up a LLC and have a few partners, assuming you know people with money to burn.
So many “investors” have been burned over the years investing in films that there is mandatory SEC language that states you are more than likely to loose your investment, etc.
Find people who are willing to invest in you, not necessarily the film as the likeliness of them ever recouping their “investment” much less a profit is very, very, unlikely. If you look at how income flows back to investors in the “movie business” you would never put up money because stealing is so easy and rampant in film “distribution”

I bought this product, fantastic!
Simple circular calculators for wide to normal and another for telephoto. New version is updated for crop sensor 1.6x or 2x cameras, though not 1/3~2/3 chip video cameras. I keep it in my shirt pocket when doing hand held work takes up no space in the kit, no batteries!

I have a 7D and use the Tokina 11~16 f2.8 and the Canon 17~55 f2.8 IS, both are for the EF-S mount and are great, just bought the canon 70~200 f4.0 IS, and expect it to be a great performer as well.
For hand holding/stedicam the 11~16 is good and the 17~55 nearly wide open has worked well for me.
