Any Hyperfocal Distance experts out there?
Hey Everyone…
We’ll be flying a Canon 60D this year. I did a forum search, but didn’t see any threads on Hyperfocal Distance. Any Hyperfocal Distance experts out there? I’m looking at some charts and I think I’m clear on it.
This is what I’m coming up with for my 60D with a 1.6 crop factor. If I’m using a 24mm lens set at f/5.6 and focused at a distance of 25′, any images from 12.5′ to infinity will be in focus

I bought this product, fantastic!
Simple circular calculators for wide to normal and another for telephoto. New version is updated for crop sensor 1.6x or 2x cameras, though not 1/3~2/3 chip video cameras. I keep it in my shirt pocket when doing hand held work takes up no space in the kit, no batteries!
