The metronome is coming through my headphones from my recording software and I nedd to hear it loud enough to stay in time. I guess what I’m asking is if there is some kind of noise reduction tactic used in Vegas I could perform to eliminate this unwanted click in my guitar track

this might be tricky but what would be your guess on how to do punch in’s on a multiple track drum recording. Is there a way to save all of the drum tracks as a whole for, say, split events and fading while still being able to tweak each drum individualy. Would you have to do the tweaking first then save it all as a group. Also, I don’t have a firewire input on my PC. What would be the first step in getting that done.

I guess I am kind of new with computers as well as insufficient with computer lingo but I will tell you what I know.
I am using a mic that is pliugged into a 4-track recorder(that of which I am using as a mixer) that is pluged into the mic input on the front of my computer to record tracks onto vegas. It speeds up just by oone beat because for example I will record a track with the ruler set to 120bpm, play it back and it is faster than the metronome, then If I cange the metronome to 121bpm it is in time.

I first want to say thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. So I tried switching to direct sound surround but that didn’t help either. Yes I am using vegas5. It starts on the beat and then gets out of sync gradually (like the wood block thing) Any other suggestions by chance?
