  • thanks, Kris. Yea i’ve been browsing through all those metadata options but haven’t been able to find what I”m looking for. There are a lot of options so I wasn’t sure if I was missing something simple.

    Thanks for the reply, Arnie. I’ll give it a try. Where do you change the pixel aspect ratio in the project settings or do you have to start a new project?

    i’m using FC 5 by the way. Not sure if that makes a difference.

    What should the field order be for the motion file? All I see is field dominance and it doesn’t give me an option to change that.

    Thanks for the quick reply and for the link to the article, Mark.

    I read through it and tried everything it mentioned but am still getting this jagged text.

    When I embed the motion file automatically it erases any transitions or color correction i’ve done in final cut.

    My footage is DVCPRO HD 720p.

    i just tried to render the clip out as lossless+alpha and it had the same jagged effect. However, when i export from motion WITH a background layer, the text is crisp. any ideas?

    would hooking them up from the analog out put on the G5 still give me stereo sound?

    what kind of isolation transformer do you recommend?
