Yea, its a TV set. Not a broadcast monitor.

How could I tell if the problem is in the TV controls or the computer? All the channels on the tv look normal so I dont think the tv controls are wrong.

I attached the TV monitor, thats when I noticed how much different it looked.

So now all i’ve got to do is adjust the brightness, contrast, and color levels using only the tv monitor and it should look good on any tv?

I’m making a slideshow so its nothing but stills. What prefs do i trash? Will that mess up anything i’ve already done?

Thanks for the help guys. Turns out I did film in 16:9. I guess what i needed to know was how to make a 16:9 anamorphic sequence. I figured that out and dropped my video in.

    thanks again.

Instead of making a blunt comment….how about explaining why the mics aren’t worth it. What microphone would you recommend? I’m on a budget so I can’t just buy a 5,000 $ mic.

    thanks

I’ll be recording vocals for music and voice overs for video. I want to record straight to my computer….maybe through a firewire or usb sound mixer. thanks

    That worked. Thanks alot.

It said the file that kept messing up was an .aif. the only difference was it had a 44.1 khz sample rate. I changed it to 48 and it worked perfect.
